László Deák is a physicist, he graduated from Loránd Eötvös University of Sciences, Budapest in 1991. Since then, he has been working in Wigner Research Centre for Physics (former name: KFKI Research Institute for Particle and Nuclear Physics). In the focus of his scientific interest are reflectometry and diffuse scattering, especially related to nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation and scattering of polarized neutrons.

Senior research associate, Materials Science by Nuclear Methods, Wigner Research Centre for Physics (former KFKI Research Institute for Particle and Nuclear Physics), since 1991.
