Márton Major is a physicist. He graduated in 1999 from the Roland Eötvös University Budapest. Starting from his summer lab work he joined the NUCSSP section at the KFKI Research Institute for Particle and Nuclear Physics. His research interest included thin film magnetism, magnetic coupling, spin flop phenomena, domain formation and transformations in antiferromagnetic multilayers. He had played very important role in specifying and installing the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) facility in KFKI RMKI. Since 2006 he has been on long term leave taking post doc positions in Germany and broadening his scientific experience in the field of neutron and X-ray scattering.
